2-4 weeks... arghhh

So Mark and I bit the bullet and bought a new computer. The Blue Screen of Death is a cursed thing!!

So since my computer turned on our friendship you have all missed the first day of school for both Maddison and Wyatt, Soccer game photos for Maddison, Mark's new car, the bountiful fruits of our labor (or vegetables I should say) that actually to our surprise grew and have tasted wonderful. Hmmmm, that all seems kind of boring on paper, maybe it's to your advantage my computer died. Needless to say, I should be a regular again soon, that is in 2-4 weeks when our shiny new RED laptop arrives. (it was either Pink or Red, and for Mark's sake I chose the favorite in our family, Utah Ute Red.)

T-Rex

ARGHHH! I just wrote out a post, it was great... whitty, clever, humorous. You'll never get to read it because I lost it! Hence the name I chose for my ancient computer who will soon be laid to rest. (T~Rex) Very soon I hope. Then maybe I can return to the bloggerhood and see what you all are up to.

New Music

I finally added a few new songs to my playlist. No, I am not ashamed to have the same playlist as most 12-18 year olds in the nation. Enjoy.

2731.3

Miles driven from July 31st ~ August 10th.

7- Number of states driven through in 10 days.

37- Total hours spent driving 2731.3 miles.

26~ Number of potty breaks taken during said hours. (If not more, mostly for Wyatt, and that's not including the times we made him pee in an empty cup or bottle to save time.)

It was a fun trip, here's a few photos of our Journey, I'll write about each stop in a couple days.

Let the movies begin!

So the highlight this weekend was definately watching movies in the backyard! We decided to have a "campout" in the backyard on Thursday night. We had kind of a "progressive dinner" but it wasn't all dinner. It was so fun and if any of you want to copy us on the next holiday, here's what we did.

We started at my sister in law Hollie's house- she provided dinner. Then we drove to Ginger's (about 5 minutes away) and had ice cream sunday's in the back yard. Next we drove to our house where we watched a movie (we rented a projector from computer solutions in AF and put a sheet up on the house... SO MUCH FUN!!) We had set up the tents earlier that night and all camped out in the back yard! We woke up Friday morning the 4th and Hollie, Mark and I cooked breakfast for everyone (thanks for the help Hollie). Then everyone went home to shower and get ready for the next part. So later on Friday we all went up to Mark's mom's house in Sandy where she had set up a swimming pool and one of those giant blow up water slides. (We missed that part because Maddi wasn't feeling well) then we all ate dinner- did fireworks and finished off the day watching the Sandy City fireworks show!

Phew, what a Holiday. We had the projector until This morning so we watched movies on Saturday night and again last night out in the backyard! It was sooo much fun, Mark and I are super tempted to buy a projector now! Who knows, every weekend we might have a movie night for the rest of the summer- that would be fun.

Need more free time???

I have just the way to free some up for you! Hire someone else to clean your house... and I know just the girl!!

My friend Jody is a single mom, she is trying hard to find work that will allow her to spend as much as much time with her 4 yr old little girl as possible. She is INCREDIBLE at cleaning homes. Okay, so I haven't used her yet, but I'm going to. My really good friend Jen just switched to her though. She has been through 3 cleaning agencies in the last year and says that Jody does the best job at cleaning out of anyone she has used, hands down! She is thrilled with the job she does.

Jen says, "She charges $20 per hour. She cleans some houses just once, some every other week, and some houses every week - it's pretty much up to the client. So if you or anyone you know needs some help from an AWESOME cleaner (and I'm not just saying that - she cleans houses better than any of the companies we've had come to our house!)"

So if any of you have been thinking about having someone come help you out on a regular basis, or even one time, email or call me.

I know I'm tempting all of you!!!
