Finally

The long awaited tracks from "Razia's Shadow". I don't have all of them on here, just a few, but don't you worry, I'll be adding more as they become available!

Have you ever just had really bad luck?

I am so glad yesterday is over. I'll try to make a long story short, but forgive me because a few details play into how we ended up where we did.

Maddison has been sick since Oct 1st. She has had strep twice in 30 days and been through two rounds of antibiotics. She finished round two on Saturday and on Sunday was running a fever and her throat hurt... AGAIN! I had made an appointment to visit the pediatric ear nose & throat specialist for Wednesday of this week, but I decided to call yesterday morning and just see if they could squeeze her in. They could... in Bountiful. But being as tired of her being sick as I was, I decided to make the drive to figure out what the heck has been going on. (Sidenote: the speach therapist at her school called me last week after meeting with her. She looked in her mouth and was very concerned about her tonsil size. She thought that it might be hindering her speach a little.)

Okay, so we make the drive up and it takes like 2 hours to get checked in, see the doctor, test her for strep (again) and get the results. No strep (Thank Goodness), but the tonsils are coming out on the 21st of this month. Maddison becomes upset, so I do the best to calm her down, get the kids in the car and head for home.

So we barely get on the freeway in Bountiful and I notice that the road is really bad. It's loud and bumpy and my car just feels weird. Then I think hmmmm, maybe I have a flat tire. (I've never had one before so I don't know what that feels like.) So I pull over and sure enough it's completely flat.

Well, those of you who know me, I like to be prepared. I am a AAA member and this is the fourth time this year I have called them, so that membership has totally paid for itself. So, I call AAA, they send someone out and I am feeling pretty calm and just trying to entertain the kids. We're sitting there waiting as cars and trucks are whizzing by a lot closer than I am comfortable with when we hear a LOUD thud and the tiny sounds of glass cracking into a thousand pieces. I look behind me and a passing truck has kicked up a rock (Later detemined to be a smidge smaller than the size of a golf ball,) and Smashed my whole window. At that point there is a football size hole in my rear window and it is slowly chipping off and becoming bigger.

So next, I call highway patrol, and as I am on the phone with them a patrol officer shows up. He walks up to passenger window to see what's going on and when I tell him what happened he's a little blown away. He offers to stay behind me to defer traffic and I graciously accept.

I figured it could have been worse and count myself lucky that we made it home in one piece. I got the tire replaced last night and the windshield replaced this afternoon. So we are all put back together and are glad that yesterday is over.

Scentsy Blog

In an effort to keep my scentsy business seperate from my blog, I have created a different blog that is dedicated to all things Scentsy. If you click on the the Scentsy logo on my sidebar, it will take you to that site.

There you will find a list of my current inventory, what the monthly special is, as well as be able to enter contests and see any specials I am offering! It's a great site to win free weekly drawings, so bookmark it and go there weekly to see what I have going on!
