Look mom, I'm a bug!

Just look at those eyes... If those don't say "mischief" I don't know what does. The other day Maddison was outside playing and found these pine needles on the ground. She came into the house and said "look mom, I'm a bug" and then starting poking both Mark and I on our legs. It was cute but we finally had to tell her to stop... it turned from cute to irritating a lot faster than you would think.

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye.

Okay, this is a couple days late, but I just have to say that I am not sad at all to see Kristy Lee Cook leave American Idol. No offense to her or any of her fans, I just never really liked her that much, and for weeks now I've been watching other contestants leave when I thought it should be her. So now that she's gone I'll have to find someone else to put at the bottom of my list, Syesha maybe?

I've been trying to figure out...

How to print my blog. I found this site that I like, and ordered my printed blog in a hardcover book. I only did the stuff from 2007. I'm thinking I'll just print each year into a book. The website I found is called Blog2print.com. Click on this link to check it out. I'll let you know how I like mine when I get it in the mail.

A few of my favorite things....

I feel like Oprah right now. You know how every year she does her annual "Favorite Things" show? Well I am about to tell you about a few of my favorite things! (I guess I'm not really Oprah because I am not giving any of these away for free, just sharing the info. Some day when I'm as rich as Oprah, I'll give you the stuff for free.)

#1 I've known about these for a while but haven't ever posted about them on my blog, but I do love all of her items and trust me, the pictures on her website do not do these supercute bags justice at all!
MODSACK'S (click on the link)

#2 Different company, but also a Utah based at home business (I am all over supporting SAHM's who start businesses from home, can you tell?) These are awesome and super duper cute baby carriers, the kind that wrap around. Very stylish, very fabulous:
MODMUM'S

#3 Another staple in my life, which many of you already know I can't live without, are my Shade Shirts. I just wanted to let you all know that this Saturday, April 19th, Shade is having it's first ever $5 shirt sale. Everything at this sale will be marked down to $5. The sale is being held from 9am-5pm in the Provo High School parking lot. Oh and if you havn't checked our their super flattering swimming suits, you just have to. I swear, these really could make it onto Oprah's Favorites list. I will never buy another swimsuit besides these again in my life. The tops make you look as though you've had a boob job, and the bottoms, as if you've had a tummy tuck or lost an extra 10-15 lbs. (that's if you need help in those departments as I do.)
SHADE CLOTHING

#4 Scentsy Candle Warmers. You already know how I feel about those, I love them.
SCENTSY

#5 ART... this is a random one, but I love everything about Art, and "The Arts" So I had to tell you all (who don't already know) about two incredible exhibits going on right now in Utah county. The first one is at the BYU museum of Art; Minerva Teichert's "Pageants in Paint" Exhibition is up until May 26th, so there isn't much time left to catch this one if you havn't already been down to it.

Also, the Springville Museum of Art has an incredible exhibition going on right now:
"Delicious" is perhaps the best way to describe the art of iconic American artist Wayne Thiebaud. Wayne Thiebaud: 70 Years of Painting will be on display at the Museum from 28 March - 27 July 2008. View paintings of delicacies that made the artist famous as well as his newest artworks. Click here for more information about the exhibition.
A must see in my opinion. These are great for taking younger children (stroller and well behaved walkers) to because they aren't huge museums. At BYU you can hit the Bean Museum right after (which is free), then stop off at the BYU Creamery.

I also have to tell you that if you do venture down to the Springville exhibit, you must stop at the "Art City Trolley" it's a resturaunt on State Street that origionated out of a trolley car, they have built onto the back to make the restaurant bigger. It's cute, fun and the food is great. ANYTHING you order is fantastic, but I have a particular weakness for the BBQ wings. MMMMM.
And TRUST ME, after the Wayne Thiebaud Exhibit, you will be hungry!

SCENTSY!

So I have a new Gig... as If I need another one, right?!! I'm really excited about this though.

Many of you may have already heard about Scentsy Wickless Wax Warmers, they are a GREAT alternative to candles & I'll tell you why...

There is no fire burning anywhere, so they are way safer than candles.

Also, they wax never heats up enough to burn the skin.

The ceramic warmers are way cuter than candles, and they last forever.

Scentsy is constantly coming out with new styles of warmers so you can update your look.

They are also constantly coming out with new scents so you can try new ones every month, they even have a "scent of the month club" where they will send you their featured new scent automatically each month.

If you are interested in learning more about Scentsy, just email me.

You can "host" a party and earn discounts and even free scentsy product. Hosting can either happen through a traditional home party where I come and set up my display etc, or you can do a basket party where I drop off a basket of all the scents and a warmer and you can just have a girls night type of deal, or you can do an E-Party, where you just email all your friends with a link to the scentsy catalog and they can order through you online.
Click Here for the link to the catalog. Also, Check out my Scentsy web page by clicking THIS link.

If you want to know what my favorite scents are, I can email you a list I put together that makes it way easier to choose.
Thanks!!!!
Erin

You're wondering where I've been?... Well I'll tell ya!

So over the last 4 weeks I have been to Seattle and back, To St. George then Vegas and back, Seattle again and back again, and then to Boise and back. I feel like busting out in song... "I've been every where man, I've been everywhere."

Two trips were unplanned, the other two were planned. In fact, the first trip to Seattle, my sister and I got a phone call at 2 in the afternoon and were on a plane by 9pm. These past four weeks have been a whirlwind and a rollercoaster. I was able to experience a really special occasion that I will never forget and will always be deeply meaningful to me; I was able to have lots of fun with my family on a great family vacation; I was able to have a wonderful (and much needed) girls getaway shopping and movie watching weekend; and unfortunately I was able to attend the funeral of someone who has been a big influence on my life.

My Uncle Robb Caufield lived an amazing life. He was a stalwart and upright man who lived his life with balance. He served amazingly, anyone who needed it; loved unconditionally to all, he took care of his wife and children better than most men know how to; he had fun and enjoyed the great things the Heavenly Father gifted him and knew every second of his life how blessed he was... he knew how to show thanks for those blessings and taught many how to do so. He will be GREATLY missed by all those still here in this life, but the comfort of the plan our Savior Jesus Christ provided us brings solace and peace beyond comprehension.

Here are a few photos of the last few weeks:
