So I just barely Printed my blog for 2009 and I was reminded of how much I love having these family yearbooks! I have one now for 2007, 2008, and 2009 and quite honestly probably would have bailed on blogging all together if it weren't for these books. Now, when I blog, I keep in mind that this is my "family yearbook" and try to post according to what I'll want to re read and look at over and over. If I ever post anything that I don't want to have printed in the book, I just delete it as I'm creating my blog book.
SharedBook makes it so easy to edit, add more photos and print these books into a nice hard cover book. I love it.

The boys played a lot of Stick Ball, with a few short rain delays.
And the girls found an awesome fort in some trees that you had to cross a little creek to get to. They had lots of fun sweeping it out and decorating the inside. They even constructed a great little bridge that crossed the creek into the fort for easier access.
This is an old abandoned cabin that never finished being built. I took some of the kids on a hike to it and told them it was a haunted house... they were so scared. It was actually kind of creepy. My sister in law Ashlie and I walked up to it with the babies and we were a little scared our selves. It was abandoned, but there was a light on inside and the overall feeling around it was pretty eerie.
These are some shots of the campground we stayed at, rather, scenery, and other cool things at the campground. There were Hundreds of Deer around, there were a few Fawns that were pretty young, we saw this one with it's mother the first night. I love the beauty and majesty of nature.

My friend Elicia had twin girls 6 weeks after I had the girls. I had to snap these photos when we went to lunch in March. I miss her and her twins! When we move back in a year I'm sure we'll hang out lots!!

Okay, So I'm a little behind on the blogging... can you blame me? We are finally pretty settled here in St. George. A lot of the pictures I'm posting are from our trip to Seattle over spring break, and other miscellaneous photos from this spring.
We moved to St. George on June 5th, Maddison's 7th birthday. I had a party for her the Wednesday before, we went bowling with a bunch of her friends. Also, I let her open her presents that morning and we agreed we'd just celebrate her birthday that day. All 4 kids stayed with Pat, Mark's Mom, over the weekend while we moved. Saturday was Maddi's real birthday and my sister's went to take her shopping that day. I am so glad because they told me Maddison was super sad that Mark and I weren't there to celebrate with her on her "real" birthday. I felt so bad. She told me later that it wasn't the same without us there to celebrate with her. (Note to self: don't ever ditch your kids on their birthday.) So lesson learned. We won't do that again and thankfully between my sister's and the amazing cake my mother in law ordered for her (a two tier circle cake) she ended up having a pretty great day.

Yes, we are moving!
Sad, I know. It is so bittersweet. We love our friends and neighbors in Lehi and we will miss our family in an indescribable way. We have to give this a shot though, it's too good of an opportunity to pass up.
We did decide to rent our home in Lehi instead of selling it, and because of this, we are renting a home in St. George for the first year. Our long term hope is to be able to keep our home in Lehi, and own a home in St. George as well... but we'll see how that works out. We just love our home in Lehi too much to let it go. If we decide to stay in St. George, then maybe we'll sell it when we purchase a home down there. We'll see.
Anyway, I apologize in advance to all of you who have been in my home a million times, but I have given my blog out to a couple potential landlords in St. George. I figured since we may not be able to meet in person this would be a good way for them to get to know us and I wanted to post pictures of our home to show them that we keep an clean house. (Those who know me well can attest to my OCD tendencies to clean often and go crazy over messes!)

Ya'll Ready for this?
Yep, I have been a bad blogger. The girls are 6 mos. now and they both sit up. The day has finally come that I can sit them down next to each other and they play with toys for a minute! It's great, but we have a few more years before I'll really get a break. We are all doing well and having fun. Here are a few pictures from the last couple months, mostly over Christmas. I'll have to be better about taking pictures. I am finally starting to have a little more time to do things, so I'll try harder!
