Okay, SO I am totally promoting this album just released today. It's awesome! My sister's (both Sister's) are really good friends with the Thomas Dutton, The writer and Producer of this album. I am blown away by his talent. His Brother did most of the Orchestra parts incorporated, but Thomas wrote the music and the story. Check it out. If you love music, you'll love this. I especially love: "The Missing Piece" and "It's True Love", well, because I'm a girl and aren't we all romantic in the end? I also love: "The Spider and the Lamp" and "The Doctor".

There are pictures of a Deer Mark shot this weekend below, so I know I have a few friends who will cry at this, and I am warning you right now that they are in this lineup! Sorry, Mark was too excited, I had to post them.

So these are all from our fun UEA weekend. (For those of you who don't live in Utah, UEA is basically a 5 day weekend, Utah Education Association or something, it's a long weekend of teacher's seminars which half the teacher's skip to go on vacation as well!)
So here's some photos of how we spent it.


This first picture was taken right down the street from our house, it's hard to see what you're looking at. If you click on the picture it will enlarge it for you. We were driving down the street and spotted this cute little red fox all curled up in a ball, literally a few yards from the road, it was closer and clearer than this picture makes it seem.


Here is the afformentioned "typical hunter's photo". Way to go Mark. We drove down to Richfield and stayed in a brand new Fairfield Inn there. I love new hotels, they are so clean and always nice no matter what kind of hotel they are. The kids had fun swimming. We went with our friends Erin and Avery; Avery's parents live in Annabella about 5 minutes from Richfield. It is really pretty there and it was so much fun. Mark and Avery hopped on 4 wheelers right in Avery's parent's driveway and rode off down the street to hunt. It's like an after work activity there if you draw out. Sometimes when I go to these small towns in Utah I think it would be so fun to pick up my family, move to a small town and slow down the pace of life. It's so tempting at times. But I know myself too well and I would probably be driving up to the city every weekend so I might as well just live where I do.


This is at the Ute game on Saturday. The Utes beat Colorado, it was warm outside, hot actually and it was a ton of fun.


We rode Trax to the game, brought our two nephews along. I'm glad that it was just a trax ride, 4 kids 6 and under is a lot. It looked like we had two sets of twins with us and I kept thinking, this is Larry and Cherises life!! You are one tough cookie Cherise.

I swear, of course this is what it lands on!!! I wasn't going to post this photo because well, my kid's half naked, but since he's a boy and it's kind of funny, I guess I'll share!

ZOOOOOO

Yesterday I slyly coerced my friend Jen into taking our kids to the zoo. (I said to my kids right of front of her 4 year old. "should we go see the animals now?" I think she was not so into at the time, but we had a lot of fun once we were there!)

Before we left for the zoo, I was at Jen's hanging out for a minute and I decided that I need to stop by more often. We ended up laughing hysterically at the silliest things and It reminded me of some good times Jen and I had in the past. We lived together for a few years during our College/Single and working years and boy did we have some fun!! The stories I could tell.... well let's just say my blog isn't the place to share some of them!!

Thanks Jen for a fun afternoon and for reminding me why you are truly one of the best friends I have ever had!! I love ya tons!! (Oh and thanks for showing me the blog list thingy, I changed all my link lists this morning and it's the best, now I might actually read everyone's blogs on a regular basis again!!)

I just have to credit Hannah Craner for her incredible work on my blog. I gave her a few vague Ideas of my personality and what I liked, and picked out some colors and she came up with a fabulous new design for my blog that I LOVE. No more changing my blog around, it's gonna stay this way. Thanks Hannah!

Every once in a while a song comes along that I just love. This is one of them. I really enjoy Taylor Swift as an artist. I think she is an incredibly talented songwriter- truly gifted to have such an incredible, self made career at such a young age.

Too Funny to keep to myself.

So this really happened to my sister Lisa last night. I laughed so hard at this I just had to share it with you all.

SO Lisa goes to Wendy's after work and orders a mandarin chicken salad at the drive thru. She drives up, pays for the salad, the guy at the window goes to the back, comes back up and says "we have taco salad, ceasar salad or BLT salad". Lisa is confused because she already told him her order so she say's "excuse me". The guy gets a little annoyed and says "we dont' have the mandarin chicken salad and repeats her options. So lisa politely chooses the taco salad. He goes to the back, comes back up front and says "we have ceasar salad or BLT salad." So now lisa gets a bit annoyed and since she's already paid says "well can I just have chicken nuggets instead?" So the guy, goes and puts her chicken nuggets in a sack and hands the sack to Lisa. She realizes that instead of giving her a refund, he's just handed her 5 5packs of chicken nuggets. My sister is way too nice because instead of telling the guy off, she asks him for BBQ sauce. He yells to the back and says "can I get 5 BBQ sauces" hands her the sauce and says "you have fun with that." and shuts the window. So Lisa drives home, walks in the house with a bag full of 25 chicken nuggets and asks her roomate "want some nuggets!"

I'm Back!

FINALLY... I have a new computer, and FINALLY, I think I got all my "cookies" and "Javascript" set up so that I can be an active participant in the blogging world again!

2-4 weeks... arghhh

So Mark and I bit the bullet and bought a new computer. The Blue Screen of Death is a cursed thing!!

So since my computer turned on our friendship you have all missed the first day of school for both Maddison and Wyatt, Soccer game photos for Maddison, Mark's new car, the bountiful fruits of our labor (or vegetables I should say) that actually to our surprise grew and have tasted wonderful. Hmmmm, that all seems kind of boring on paper, maybe it's to your advantage my computer died. Needless to say, I should be a regular again soon, that is in 2-4 weeks when our shiny new RED laptop arrives. (it was either Pink or Red, and for Mark's sake I chose the favorite in our family, Utah Ute Red.)
