Wyatt on his first day of school.
sage showing just a hint of a smile.
Kaylie showing off one of her signature grins.
Where the girls are when I'm doing anything in the kitchen. On the counter in their bouncers!
So these posts are obviously going to be a little spread out for a while, but I thought I'd post a couple of pictures I took today and give you a little update on our family and the girls.
The Girls turned 8 weeks today. They'll officially be 2 months on the 28th. They have both grown a ton, I don't know for sure how much they weigh, but when I hold both of them at the same time, it's a heavy load. I'll give you all those updates after their 2 month checkup.
Kaylie is smiling so easily, I swear she's about to start laughing out loud soon. She smiles all the time, you can just look at her and she starts grinning. Kaylie continues to be the more relaxed of the 2 babies. She is just a laid back easy going girl. She is so easy to love and just makes me smile!
Sage is still smaller than Kaylie, but she's catching up. She is starting to smile in response to you a lot more. She's mellowed out a little bit and where she was consistently crying for 2 hours every night a couple of weeks ago, she is now a lot easier to get to sleep. We are definitely starting to figure each other out. I've realized she just wants her mom sometimes and she doesn't like a lot of background noise. She is a total snuggler and wants to be held all the time!
Maddi & Wyatt are both doing great. Maddi had a rough time adjusting (as we all did) but as Mark and I have relaxed a bit and are handling these additions better, Maddison is also relaxing and doing better. We switched her from the late track to the early track at school which means we are up around 6:30 every morning. This has been much better for Maddi, but much harder for me. I've figured out that if I can go back to bed after she leaves and sleep for an hour or two more, I do much better during the day. It's too hard to get naps in so this is the better solution. We all go to bed much earlier and that helps too!
Thanks for all your support, we love you!!

good to see that things are going well! your kids are adorable....don't know how you do it all.
good work.
The twins are so precious! I don't know how you do it. I guess you don't have a choice. Hopefully Mark is a good diaper changer.
